In http://www.centroulisse.org we worked hard to develope a graphic interface with three aims:

1. Maintain the graphic style required by the customer, that has migrated from a previous less effective CMS. The requirements concerns non standard design of portlet column, double row horizontal main menu and a custom tabled links in home page.
2. Maintain as much as possible the graphic compatibility with different types of browser, i.e. mozilla and Internet Explorer. Where the compatibility is not possibile, we had create an alternate view paying attention to show the same contents in a useful way.
3. Disappearing of some of the elements, i.e. site administration standard search viewlet and more.

After the testing of different approaches, this portal applies an intensive use of CSS styles in conjunction of as less as possible use of graphic elements.
